A family owned company that has been around since 1991 is looking to hire another petroleum technician. We are in search for a full-time, self-motivated, high energy individual who has knowledge of fueling systems (tank monitors, dispensers, POS systems, and pumping systems). Prior experience and manufacturer’s certifications are REQUIRED for the applicant. We service Gilbarco, Vaporless, FEPetro, Redjacket, Fuel master, VeriFone, Veeder Root and much more. The applicant must have prior experience in fuel systems service, testing, routine maintenance, and calibrations. Applicant must be willing to work in the field and office. We work all over Alaska and travel will be required; sometimes on short notice. We are the one-stop shop for everything and anything to do with fuel systems, retail service stations, carwash, remediation needs and environmental compliance. We are a full-service fuel system contractor specializing in above and underground fuel systems for retail, commercial and government clients. We service major oil companies, distributors, independent dealers, fleet services, and local, state and federal agencies.

JOB SUMMARY:
Major areas of responsibility will be installation, start-up, operation, inspection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency service of petroleum equipment. This position requires a solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and experience in troubleshooting such systems. Represents and promotes the company; its products and services, as well as pro-actively seeks and pursues new prospects/projects, with existing and prospective customers, in order to increase profitable sales. Keeps the voice of the customer at the forefront at all times.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. Fluent in English with ability to communicate effectively. 2. HS diploma or equivalent
3. Clean driving record
4. Clean background check
5. 2 years minimum field experience. 5+ years preferred. With certifications.
6. Strong Knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems. Ability to troubleshoot equipment.
7. Dependable and hands-on. Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, well organized and detail oriented. Strong customer orientation. This position offers solid competitive pay, D. O. E.
